Chef Kari Mueller
Chef Kari Mueller of Appleton, WI has over 20 years of culinary experience. Since November of 2009, she has occupied the top spot at both Carmella’s and Sap Brunch. She started as the head chef at Carmella’s and has transitioned into the pastry chef for both restaurants. Her talent is unmatched and her artistry is unparalleled. Previous to Carmella’s and Sap, she lent her amazing chef skills to such Appleton gems as Butte des Morts Country Club, the former Luna and Riverview Country Club. With masterful pastry technique and a deep knowledge and understanding of the current culinary culture, she continues to be a force to be reckoned with. With numerous appearances on local television and internet shows, she has enriched our community with “big city” food in her very own calm, confident and “small town” way. And although she attended Appleton’s FVTC culinary program, she attributes the majority of her elevated craft to her “bad-a**” chef mom, Anne Schoening. We are grateful for who she is and all she gives to our community with her food and her love.
