Chef Kaytlin Snively and Ruthann Heeter, with Fox Cities Magazine will be preparing a dessert for our event! When you bring together the Fox Valley’s first cookery on wheels and the Editor in Chief of the Fox Valley’s first magazine about the area, you have to get something great-right? Maybe even a first! We’ll see what these two can develop!

Ruth Ann Heeter is the publisher and managing editor of FOX CITIES Magazine, the Fox Cities and Northeastern Wisconsin’s lifestyle publication celebrating its 30th year. Her career path included radio news reporting at WNAM Radio, a news director position at WOSH/WYTL Radio as well as an executive assistant position at the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and Industry where she was responsible for governmental affairs. Heeter has been active in community organizations including Rotary and Kiwanis. She is a recipient of the Athena Award from the Fox Cities Chamber and was recognized as Woman Manager of the Year by Women In Managment. Heeter credits these positions, as well as her personal enthusiasm, for her continuing efforts to “Celebrate the Place We Call Home.” An avid diner at area restaurants with her husband, Marvin Murphy, Heeter enjoys spreading the news to the magazine’s readers about our local dining scene.

Kaytlin Snively, a 22 year old from Chicago, Ill has a definite passion for baking and pastries. She is currently about to enter her final months of culinary school at Fox Valley Technical College. She has worked in the foodservice industry with a focus on baking for 2 years. For the past year, she has worked at the Kangaroostaurant where she is able to express her creativity and knack for blending flavors and textures while creating stunning visual presentation. Someday Kaytlin hopes to have a bakery of her own, but in the meantime, she looks forward to graduation this spring and a summer full of baking at the Kangaroostaurant.
